Coastal Clouds Vapor has landed in the UK, an American company based in Orange County California.
Coastal Clouds Vapor is solely distributed by Clouds Distro in the UK. I was contacted by Lee of Clouds Distro and asked if I would do a review of Coastal Clouds. After a quick look online I saw some intriguing flavours and agreed. Lee kindly sent me over the range for the purpose of review and a great T-shirt, which was a little (a lot) on the tight side, no fault of anyone, but I am a rather large bloke. So, I’m afraid there won’t be any modelling photos in the blog.
It just so happened that the juices arrived just in time for my holiday and so I took them with me to try out. It just so happened that I was going to the coast! What a great place to try out these juices. My family and I went to north Devon and spent most of our time at the beach and I vaped on some Coastal Clouds as I watched my children play in the sand, it was a great holiday. Were the juices a good addition to the trip? Read on and lets find out.
The Voyage won best in show at the Vape Summit 2015, which I am assuming was a US event.
There are a few places you can buy these juices from in the UK, but here are two that you can browse at your leisure www.BarracudaVape.co.uk at £15.95 for 30ml and www.Vaporized.co.uk at £15.99 for 30ml. You can get them in 0, 3 and 6mg nicotine strengths. They are a 70VG/30PG mix.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 55watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
Scent: there is whole host of things going on, but I think it smells like a sweet rice crispy bar with hints of berries in the back ground.
Flavour: I didn’t think I was going to like this one as I tend stay clear of cereal vapes as I tend to find them a little harsh. But, this juice is outstanding and intriguing making you want more and more of it, my head was telling me I shouldn’t and my taste buds were telling me otherwise. On the inhale you are hit with a sweetness which develops into the taste of a rice crispy bar – like the Kellogg’s one. On the exhale this is joined by back notes of mixed berries which are hard to distinguish because you get the sensation that they are encapsulated within the rice crispy bar. There is another note in there which I’m not sure I can pin point, the flavour that comes to mind is a slight aniseed flavour. It may be just the combination of other flavours that has created this note. It is certainly a welcome addition to the this truly divine juice and surprised me. I am not a fan of aniseed, so please do not be put off, it is purely hinting at it. Is it an ADV? Yes, I think it is.
VP Review Rating: 9/10
Scent: candied watermelon and slightly sour
Flavour: this is by far one the best watermelon flavours I have had to date. The main note throughout the inhale and exhale is of a candied watermelon with this wonderfully true watermelon that bursts out from the back, making for a delightfully refreshing vape. On holiday, down on the beach, sun blazing, this juice was wonderfully soothing and I am glad I had this to turn to. Most certainly an ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 9/10
Scent: citrus, a bold orange with a hint of mango in the back ground
Flavour: oh my, this juice takes me to seven heaven. This hits every mark for me, definitely a eyes rolled back and a shake of the head in delight moment. On the inhale a true and wonderful blood orange, which gives a slightly fuller orange juice taste with hints of another citrus, lemon and then on the exhale this is joined by back notes of mango, not a lot but just enough. Leaving the sweet part of the mango on the tip of your tongue and a delightful lingering taste in your mouth. This is SO moreish. Do I need to say it? Another fine ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 10/10
So to my conclusion, Coastal Clouds Vapor have brought three excellent juices to the market. They deliver a really smooth vape, the juices are consistent through the range and the produce some excellent vapour. I have been really impressed with how well these juices vape, they certainly hit the mark on holiday and continued to do so in my normal vaping environment. They come in blacked out glass bottles with child safety caps and pipettes. I love the labels, really striking colours and some fantastic design work. The website is clear and easy to navigate as are the other vendor websites, so you shouldn’t have much trouble finding them. I will certainly be looking to get myself some more and I will be keeping my eye out for anything new that comes out.
Would I recommend them? I most certainly would highly recommend going and checking out Coastal Clouds Premium Vapor.

I’d like to say thank you to Lee at Clouds Distro for bringing these fine juices into my life.
