Celtic Vapours are a UK company based in Swansea, South Wales. They have a wide selection of juices available, spanning about thirty different flavours from a range of tobacco and menthols to basic fruits and then they have a selection of mixed blends.
I met Joe from Celtic Vapours for the first time back at VapeJam UK (you can check out how I got on at VapeJam UK by clicking here), they weren’t exhibiting at the show but we were introduced by Les @LndnVaper a fellow reviewer. We then got to meet again at the first Vaper Expo UK of the year Where Joe asked me if I would like to do a review of some of their products. With great joy I said that I would. Joe gave me a selection from the range for the purpose of review. I was given seven bottles from what I believe to be called the Celtic Black range which only come in High VG and at 3mg.
Things didn’t quite go to plan for me after the Expo and so my reviewing queue became pushed back by about eight weeks, so much so that this review was pushed past the second Expo of the year. So I felt a little embarrassed to say the least that when I saw Joe from Celtic Vapours I hadn’t done the review as promised. Anyway I am here now and the review is done, apologies Celtic Vapour. (If you would like to check out my Vaper Expo UK – The Return journey then click here).
You can purchase Celtic Vapours juices direct, at present there is a sale on but I will give you original prices Celtic Black range is 15ml for £7.00, comes in 3mg nicotine strength and is a 95VG/5PG mix. Other flavours you can get are 10ml for £4.80 and 30ml for £13.50 they can come in 0, 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24mg nicotine strength and you can choose between a 90VG/10PG or 60VG/40PG mix.
Edit: I have recently done a review of a new range Overlords E-liquid, check out my review by clicking here.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 55watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
Scent: mixed fruits with citrus notes.
Flavour: wow, what great vape, full of flavoursome fruity notes bouncing around the palate. Straight from the inhale this bounty full blend hits you with a fine selection of well blended fruits, I get mainly citrus notes, an orange and grapefruit with a hint of lime. On the exhale there is a back note of a banana, very distant but a great addition. Is it an ADV? most certainly is for me.

Scent: the distinctive smell of cloudy lemonade.
Flavour: my grandma use to make lemonade with lots ice and super refreshing on a summers day. I have tried quite a few lemonades and for me they come close but not necessarily get it right.
However today, I have tried Celtic Vapours and they have hit the nail on the head. Through the inhale on to the exhale a beautiful but slightly tart cloudy lemonade. Just how Grandma use to make it. Not an ADV for me, but still a fantastic and impressive vape, well done Celtic Vapours.

Ants in your Pants
Scent: mixed berries.
Flavour: Though summer has gone, you can surely bring it back with this delightful juice. On the inhale your taste buds are tantalised by this fine blend of berries with the slightest hint of coolant in the background. This is continued on to the exhale, delivering a very refreshing vape and most certainly an ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 8/10
Death by Cream
Scent: cream notes.
Flavour: I do have chuckle, if by any chance vaping this juice was my ending, well I would consider it not a bad way to go. This is divine, a creamy vapers heaven and that’s a promise. On the inhale a delightfully rich vanilla cream, almost rolls-in in waves which is accentuated on the exhale with slightly sweet notes leaving the palate very creamy indeed. Most certainly an ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 9/10
Flavour: so the smell of this got me slightly worried, as I am not a fan of aniseed. So I was very cautious when trying this juice out and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I appreciate that that isn’t a hugely up lifting remark, but when you take into account that I don’t like aniseed or menthol then it is in fact quite a compliment.
On the inhale your palate is hit with a lovely bold flavour of berries and then a small wave of menthol comes floating behind with a very subtle hint of aniseed, which carried into the exhale. In my eyes, really well done. I have found that others of similar flavouring are overwhelmed by either the menthol or the aniseed or indeed both! This for me is extremely palatable and dare I say it, I like it. It’s not ADV for me, but I would definitely have a drip of this again. Is it one for you hardcore menthol vapers? probably not. If you like your cooled fruits with a twist, then it’s a must try.

Scent: creamy strawberry.
Flavour: this is a strawberries and cream a very popular flavour amongst vapers. Not one I tend to go for myself, but I have tried a few and this is definitely one of the better ones. This juice delivers what its expected too. On the inhale a delightful fresh strawberry with a creamy back note. Which comes to its fullest on the exhale. Not an ADV for me, but if you love your strawberries and cream then this is a must try.

Scent: raspberry with cream notes.
Flavour: this very much reminds me of a summer favourite ice-cream which some of my friends use to love – a Screwball. On the inhale a scrumptious raspberry ripple ice-cream which is wonderfully creamy. Then at the back of the inhale I get a bubblegum that comes through and sits along side the ice-cream on the exhale. Not being a fan of bubblegum vapes it’s not for me, but if you like a bubblegum vape then it is a must try.

So to my conclusion, Celtic Vapours have brought some excellent juices to the market and from the ones I’ve tried I can tell that a lot of thought has gone into these flavours and have been well crafted. The juices are consistent through the range and produce some excellent vapour. The bottles I received were plastic unicorn style with child safety caps and tamper rings. The website is very clear and easy to use, they also sell a wealth of hardware and they also do concentrates. With so many flavours I found with other companies that quality is lost is some of the juices. In a sense gone for quantity over quality. Not with Celtic Vapours, their attention to detail of every juice is very clear to see and I can only look forward to trying out some of their other flavours and so should you.
I would highly recommend going and checking out Celtic Vapours.
