Fruitastic is a product of a company called 120 Industries which was founded by the makers of Choo Choo Ejuice. They are based in Orange County, California and so far they have one juice to their name. In the UK they are being promoted by a company called Distrikt:Lab.
I met Lizzie and Aston from Distrikt:Lab at Cloud Sessions 4 in Birmingham (if you’d like to check my visit to Cloud Sessions, click here). We had a chat about their company and the juice they were promoting and tried the juice. Lizzie asked me if I would do a review and I accepted. Lizzie gave me a sample bottle for the purpose of review. I have mentioned before that trying juices at an event can come across better or different and it’s not until you get it home into your own environment, that is where the true test is. Read on and see what I thought of this juice.
At present I cannot find a UK vendor, but you can buy direct (please be aware of additional shipping costs). They sell it only in 120ml bottles at $29.99 (approx. £24.15), you can get it in 0, 3 and 6mg nicotine strength and a Max VG mix.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 55watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
Scent: watermelon with hints of strawberry.
Flavour: this juice, funnily enough reminds me of the infamous tale of the Tortoise and the Hare. On the inhale I get a rush of tantalising full and fresh strawberries and watermelon racing in jostling for first place with the dragon fruit hanging back. On the exhale this is accentuated and then suddenly from out of the background the dragon fruit punches through to the front crossing the finish line first, leaving me with a delightfully fruity and refreshed palate. A wonderfully smooth and pleasant vape, not too sweet, an ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 7/10
So to my conclusion, with Fruitastic, 120 Industries have brought a juice that delivers a great full bodied flavour and produces some excellent vapour. The sample bottle I received was a 30ml plastic unicorn style bottle, I believe they are selling the juice in the same style bottle, but obviously bigger. Fresh and fruity looking labels, the website is a very simple but gives you all the information you require. So with it’s name is this a fantastic juice? It didn’t completely blow me away with excitement, but it is a great juice which will give you a great vaping experience.
My only concern, though they are only selling 120ml bottles to give customers great value, it may put some people off. Because if you are like me, I like to try a smaller amount before I go big. Trying this juice certainly makes me want to check out Choo Choo ejuice who they are associated with.
I would recommend going and checking out Fruitastic.
