I went to a small expo a at the end of February at the Fusion Vape Lounge in Nottingham. There were quite a few companies that I hadn’t met before. One of them I did know and that was Vapouround because I knew them for the magazine they produce, I hadn’t had the chance to try their juices before.
Vapouround are the media partners for Vaper Expo UK, which I attended both last year. If you would like to check out my blog of the Vaper Expo UK – The Return then please click here. They will also be at the up coming Vaper Expo UK at the end of May this year.
I was given the two juice range for the purpose of review.
The first place I came to that sells the juices is www.EliquidOnline.co.uk at £14.98 for 30ml, you can get them in 0, 3 and 6mg nicotine strength and they are a 80VG/20PG mix.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Scent: when I first took a whiff I instantly thought of the drink you get at the dentist, made me smile. On second go I got fresh blueberries with a sweet menthol.
Flavour: it is well documented that I’m not overly keen on menthol vapes or bubblegum vapes. But over the last six months I have been introduced to Malaysian menthols and have found them quite appealing. With this juice they have gone with a similar style to the Malaysians, with a mix of menthol and a sweet mint.
Why do i mention bubblegum? Well, as a slight back note on the exhale for me, I get this flavour reminiscent of bubblegum. It is the slightest hint and in fact made me smile rather than recoil at the idea.
On the inhale I am greeted by a wonderful fruity blueberry that is about to explode when I’m hit by a rush of menthol/mint mix, which puts a halt on the blueberry. On to the exhale and the menthol/mint starts to fade and the blueberry returns with great force and delivers that blueberry explosion I was waiting for. Right at the back of the exhale I get this slight taste of fruity, minty bubblegum and it is not off putting and it might be just me. It’s not for me, but for those of you who enjoy a fruity menthol vape I would recommend giving it a try.
VP Review Rating: 5/10
Scent: coffee with toffee notes.
Flavour: OH MY GOODNESS, this is so good. I am a coffee drinker, my coffee of choice is a mocha. Though I like a sweet coffee I do like a good strong coffee that has plenty of body. I have tried quite a few different coffee vapes and most of them I have found that I could vape them in short spurts, not an ADV by a long shot.
On the inhale I am greeted by this delightful rich coffee with a light creamy back note. Right at the back of the inhale and quickly leading into the exhale I get this wondrous soft thick creamy toffee, the coffee returns intertwining with the toffee. Leaving my palate laced with cream, toffee and a hint of coffee and wanting more. Is it an ADV? It certainly is for me.
VP Review Rating: 9/10
So to my conclusion, I find that Vapouround Juice have brought two excellent juices to the market. I was a little skeptical at first, a company known for writing about the industry, then goes and makes their own juice. I initially thought they had “jumped on the band wagon” as the saying goes, but I have had to disagree with my first thoughts. It seems a lot of care and attention has gone into getting these juices right. They deliver a full-bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour.
Though I received the juices in 30ml glass bottles with child safety caps and pipettes, the juices have been through TPD testing and are ready. I assume that bottles sizes will change prior to the 20th May. I loved the website that has been set up with some wonderful moving graphic and I found it easy to use and navigate. If you are heading to Vaper Expo UK at the end of May, you should go and give them a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
I would recommend going and checking out Vapouround Juice.

I’d like to say thank you to Paul of Vapouround for giving me these juices for review.
