The first time I was aware of IFancyOne.com was when I entered and won a competition they were running at the beginning of last year (it was the first vaping competition I had won), I got this wonderful package of goodies and a bottle of Charlies Chalk (you can check my review of that by clicking here) which I believe they were promoting as a guest liquid at the time. T-shirt, stickers, fridge magnets, sweets and a couple of pens, which I still have on my desk to this today. IFancyOne.com are known for their initial range Tootin Juice (check out my review by clicking here).
My very first event that I went to was Vape Jam UK last year and I had a very enjoyable time (if you would like to read about that please click here). This is where I met the guys from and tried Wick Liquor, I remember being really impressed with the range. This was also the first time I met Jon from Wick Liqour, (which I was later to find out was in fact one of the mixologists at IFancyOne.com), Jon has an awesome beard as does one of his colleagues, so there was a little time spent talking about beards, obviously.
IFancyOne.com were also in attendance and at this time I hadn’t realised that the two were connected. In fact cleverly I wasn’t to cotton on until the second Vaper Expo UK of the year – The Return (you can check out my visit by clicking here) where they were launching their third range That Daily Juice a three juice range (check out my review by clicking here).
Moving on to this year and the first major event of the year VapeJam UK 3 which I had an excellent time (you can read about my visit by clicking here). What was really special was the guys from IFancyOne.com were staying in the same hotel as me and I had the opportunity to speak with Jon (once again) and Charlie. Over a couple of beers I had a really good chat with Charlie as we talked about the processes behind getting their juices just right and the attention to detail taken with every batch. I find the whole subject really interesting. Like you guys reading this, I know and see the finished product but how it comes about is still a little cloudy and vague. I hope to at some point to go and see how these things happen for myself, if it was to happen you will hear about it all here on my blog.
After speaking to Charlie for sometime, he asked me if I would do a review of some of their juices. I said that I would love too. For the purpose of review I was given two of the new flavours of Tootin Juice(check out my review by clicking here), the range by That Daily Juice (check out my review by clicking here) and the range by Wick Liquor, which is what I have for you today.
Something I have mentioned many times, trying juices at events can be a different experience to when you have bought some, took it home and put in your own devices, read on and lets see how I find them.
You can find Wick Liquor up and down the country in brick & mortar and online shops. But for the purpose of this review I shall give you prices direct from http://www.WickLiquor.com TPD compliant 10ml for £4.99 in 0, 1.5, 3 and 6mg nicotine strength and they are a 80VG/20PG mix.
They are also doing their version of the Nicshot/Shake and Vape which is also TPD compliant, 50mls of 0mg nicotine juice in a 60ml bottle for £15.00 and you can buy NicoFuel 18mg 100% VG 10ml for £2.50, putting the two together will create 60ml of 3mg nicotine strength juice.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Scent: citrus notes with fruity back notes.
Flavour: oh my goodness, this is so good! I’m not very often stumped when it comes down to breaking down what different components are in a juice. But this juice has been blended so well that it delivers a unique flavour. In all fairness I don’t think I want to, enjoy it for what it is. But to hopefully aid you, There are a couple of citrus notes and I also think that there is a pear in there too (I might be wrong).
On the inhale I’m getting a rich citrus note that comes in soft and smooth On to the exhale and there is to much going on my taste buds are being tantalised by different fruity notes, leaving me questioning my senses. Leaving me with a wonderfully fruity palate. This juice could quite easily become addictive.
If you enjoy a fruity vape, then this juice is a must try. Is it an ADV for me? Oh my, yes it is! I don’t think this bottle will last the rest of the day.
VP Review Rating: 11/10
Scent: sugar candy with hints of cake in the background.
Flavour: I love cake and I am quite partial to a cake vape. This doesn’t disappoint, I found that vaping on this juice that I got a slightly different experiences from time to time. There is a very mild underlying doughnut and then this rich moist cake and a very sweet topping.
On the inhale I get a soft doughnut, then going straight on to the exhale and this juice explodes with an abundance of different flavours that will stretch your imagination. This rich full-bodied moist sponge is topped with this really sweet finish, almost giving me the sensation of sugar crystals. From time to time on the exhale I get this hint towards it being a little fruity, as though the sponge cake had a spattering of dried fruit. Probably an odd finding as I don’t think that there is any fruit in this juice. It’s an ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 8/10
Scent: mixed fruits.
Flavour: ha ha, you really are testing me Wick Liquor. This stuff is amazing and another juice that I can not break down. That is down to excellent mixing and creation of another unique flavour. It is another fruity number that is trying is believing.
On the inhale I get a swirl of fruits on top of a wild blueberry. On to the exhale and this finely blended mixed fruits accentuates on to the palate. The fruits dance around the mouth popping at my taste buds saying “Hi, who am I?” then dying down again. It leaves me with a wonderfully fruity palate and wanting more. Certainly an ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 10/10
Scent: sweet with a hint of coconut.
Flavour: OH MY GOODNESS, I’m holding back from swearing, this is heaven for me. This juice comes across so simple but so effective. I’m sure its not at all. In my experience something that comes across simple is usually quite complex to put together.
On the inhale I get this wave of soft sweetness which has this creamy coconut riding in on top. On to the exhale and this all blossoms into a sweet, creamy coconut vape. The coconut is not overpowering, everything in good measure, truly divine. Is it an ADV for me? Yes, yes, YES!
Now I have the difficult decision to what I continue to vape on today, thanks Wick Liquor.
VP Review Rating: 11/10
So to my conclusion, I find that Wick Liquor have not only brought some fantastic juices to the market, but they are unique within the market. From what I know you will not find anything like these anywhere else. These juices are not Premium juices, they are much better than that, if there was such a thing, these are Platinum juices. I completely see why these have been such a huge success and so they should be.
This has probably one of the most difficult reviews I have done, questioning my senses and my ability to break down what makes up these juices. I see that as only positive. It really is difficult to put into words how I’m experiencing these unique flavours. I hope that my words have done this fine juice the justice it deserves.
They all deliver a unique full-bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour. The plastic bottles are unicorn style with child safety caps and they come with tamper rings. I love the design and logo on the bottles which is carried over on to the website and they have an abundance of apparel to choose from (it all looks pretty cool. They have a wonderful website which is very clear and easy to navigate. Every tiny detail has been taken into account and it shows. After reviewing these, I’m really looking forward to reviewing the other two ranges, so watch out for those. If you haven’t had the opportunity to try these then what are you waiting for, a must try, I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.
I would highly recommend going and checking out Wick Liquor.
You can also find them on social media;
