VP Vaping Review: That Daily Juice

That Daily Juice are one of three ranges made by IFancyOne.com a UK company based in Tamworth. That Daily Juice is a three juice range.

The first time I was aware of IFancyOne.com was when I entered and won a competition they were running at the beginning of last year (it was the first vaping competition I had won), I got this wonderful package of goodies and a bottle of Charlies Chalk (you can check my review of that by clicking here) which I believe they were promoting as a guest liquid at the time. T-shirt, stickers, fridge magnets, sweets and a couple of pens, which I still use today. IFancyOne.com are known for their initial range Tootin Juice (check out my review by clicking here).

My very first event that I went to was Vape Jam UK 2 last year and I had a very enjoyable time (if you would like to read about that please click here). This is where I met the guys from and tried Wick Liquor, I remember being really impressed with the range. This was also the first time I met Jon from Wick Liquor, (which I was later to find out was in fact one of the mixologists at IFancyOne.com), Jon has an awesome beard as does one of his colleagues, so there was a little time spent talking about beards, obviously.

IFancyOne.com were also in attendance and at this time I hadn’t realised that the two were connected. In fact cleverly I wasn’t to cotton on until the second Vaper Expo UK of the year – The Return (you can check out my visit by clicking here) where they were launching their third range That Daily Juice a three juice range.

Moving on to this year and the first major event of the year VapeJam UK 3 which I had an excellent time (you can read about my visit by clicking here). What was really special was the guys from IFancyOne.com were staying in the same hotel as me and I had the opportunity to speak with Jon (once again) and Charlie. Over a couple of beers I had a really good chat with Charlie as we talked about the processes behind getting their juices just right and the attention to detail taken with every batch. I find the whole subject really interesting and like you reading this, I know and see the finished product but how it comes about is still a little cloudy and vague. I hope to at some point to go and see how these things happen for myself, if it was to happen you will hear about it all here on my blog.

After speaking to Charlie for sometime, he asked me if I would do a review of some of their juices. I said that I would love too. For the purpose of review I was given two of the new flavours of Tootin Juice (check out my review by clicking here), the range by Wick Liquor (check out my review by click here) and the range by That Daily Juice,  which is what I have for you today.

Something I have mentioned many times, trying juices at events can be a different experience to when you have bought some, took it home and put in your own devices, read on and lets see how I find them.

You can buy That Daily Juice from several vendors, but I will give you the price from the www.ThatDailyJuice.com TPD compliant 10ml for £4.99 which you can get in 0, 3 and 6mg nicotine strength and it is a 80VG/20PG mix.

The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.

With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.

Devices used:

  • Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
  • Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
  • Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil

Metropolis

Scent: mixed berries.

Flavour: it is funny how my palate can quickly pick up flavours I’m not so keen on than those my palate knows and loves. It is almost as though the taste buds become a little lazy when they are happy with what they are getting. This juice is a refreshing mix of a soft sweet mint, a blend of mixed berries and a touch of aniseed (I’m not a fan of aniseed). However the aniseed is so delicate, the juice just hints at it.

On the inhale I get a soft smooth sweet mint. On to the exhale and the mint continues through, but I get a wonderful punch of mixed berries which comes across more like a fruit syrup. Right at the end of the exhale I get this aniseed that comes up as a back note. I do feel that the aniseed really adds the finishing touch. This juice delivers a blissful vape that leaves me with a minty palate. A delightful ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 8/10

Sprawl

Scent: melon, there is another fruit but can’t quite define it.

Flavour: ah ok, there is lychee in this too. The combination with the melon really works for me. I have found with some juices the lychee is overpowering and it takes over the juice and for me becomes unpleasant. Not with this juice, some great measures.

A starter I use to make (in my Cheffing days) was half a Galia melon scooped out, with a measure of white port poured in and I would sprinkle a little brown sugar around the top edge and then I would leave it in the fridge for an hour. the sugar and the port soaks into the melon, really is divine you should try it. The point of this little digression, the melon in this juice tastes like there is a little brown sugar on it.

On the inhale I am met by a very ripe melon and following in behind is the lychee. On to the exhale and the lychee comes further forward with the melon calming the slight tang that can come with lychee. All the way through the exhale there is this soft sweetness. It is an ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 7/10

Suburban

Scent: chocolate mint.

Flavour: this juice reminded me of Viscount biscuits to start with, purely on the basis of the blend of chocolate and mint. Though I should be quite clear there is no biscuit in this juice. Vaping on and this juice is much more sophisticated than that. Delivering a smooth milky chocolate with a sweet and powerful mint.

On the inhale I get a thick rich chocolate cream icing which is quickly followed in by a cool smooth sweet mint that gives a delicate punch. On to the exhale and the mint dies down enough to let the chocolate intertwine giving me a delightful minty chocolate finish. Is it an ADV? I had to think about it, but yes I think it is.

VP Review Rating: 7/10

So to my conclusion, I find that That Daily Juice have brought some excellent well blended juices to the market. The quality in undeniable and they deliver a great full-bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour.

As I ponder my thoughts, it did come to mind that though each flavour is quite easily an ADV, for someone who likes to switch things up during the day. You could quite easily have all three on the go and I was thinking Sprawl as your morning vape, Metropolis as your afternoon vape, leaving you with Suburban as an evening vape.

The sample bottles I received were plastic unicorn style with child safety caps and tamper rings. A simple but very effective design on the labelling and crosses over well to the wonderful website which is very clear and easy to use. I believe that IFancyOne.com and That Daily Juice will be in attendance at the Vaper Expo UK this coming weekend and you should go and give Daily a try. You never know, you might find your next ADV. If you are there, then make sure you look out for me and come and say hello.

I would highly recommend going and checking out That Daily Juice.
