Renegade Vape Co. are a UK company based in Birmingham and this range is from the makers of Evil Cloud. They have a three juice range which is a 70VG/30PG mix.
I first came across and tried Renegade E-Liquids at an event called Cloud Sessions 4 in Birmingham (if you would like to check my visit please click here). This year I went to Vape Jam UK 3 and had an excellent time (if you would like to check out my visit please click here).
Renegade Vape Co. were also in attendance and it was an opportunity say hello and to see how the new range was doing. The guys asked me if I would do a review and I was given the range for the purpose of review.
I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.
I couldn’t find a website for Renegade Vape Co. if you require any further information please go to www.GreyHaze.co.uk.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Green Sour Belts
Scent: sour apples.
Flavour: my first thoughts were to a slightly sweetened cooking apples. As I continued to vape it became more apparent that is actually tastes just like those soft chewy strand sweets you can get (obviously the name kind of gives away a little). It is hard to describe, as well as the flavouring these types of sweets have a particular aftertaste to them. This juice does just that, very clever.
On the inhale I get this candied sour apple that almost comes across slightly dry. On to the exhale and the flavour is accentuated with sharp and sour notes pinging at my taste buds. There are also sweet notes surrounding the main flavour. It then finishes with this type laces/belts aftertaste that I mentioned above. An ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 7/10
Cookie Dough Ice Cream
Scent: cookies and hints of ice cream
Flavour: I met a guy I knew coming out of Vape Jam as I was returning and he was vaping on this juice, he loved it, thought it was awesome. I am always a little wary of koolada that is added to juice to create that cold sensation. Not being a fan of koolada, a lot of the time I wished they hadn’t put it in because I felt the juice didn’t need it. If you have ever tried the Ben & Jerry’s version, this is just like it.
The cookie dough ice cream flavour is truly amazing and if it didn’t have the koolada would be in my top three juices I have ever tried. I do feel that the koolada is in good measure and for someone who likes that is going to really and I mean, really enjoy this juice.
On the inhale I get this very rich cookie dough ice cream, very creamy and rolls in on the tongue this is then followed in by a mild koolada that slowly cools the palate. On to the exhale, the koolada dies away and it is like an explosion of divine flavour that takes me to ice cream vape heaven. It is an ADV for me, though personally I would prefer it without koolada. I have to mark this on pure genius.
VP Review Rating: 10/10
Scent: raspberry lemonade.
Flavour: a traditional cloudy lemonade with a streak of raspberry through it, slightest of throat hits and a fizz to the tongue.
On the inhale I get this rich lemonade with a raspberry coming right through the middle and the slightest of throat hits. On to the exhale and the lemonade blossoms giving me sweet and sour notes in equal measure that hit my taste buds. Also on the exhale there is this slight fizz to the tongue to finish. An ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 7/10
So to my conclusion, I find that Renegade Vape Co. have brought one excellent and two great juices to the market. All the juices are consistent and deliver a full-bodied flavour and they produce some excellent vapour too. The samples I got came in gorilla bottles (is that what they are called now?) and boxes which makes them compliant with TPD/TRPR regulations. They have some simplistic, but effective designs to the labels which is the same on the boxes. The range doesn’t have its own website but information can be sort after at the Grey Haze website.
I believe that they will be at Vaper Expo UK – The Big Weekend this week, if you are going why not go and have a try for yourself. If you are there, look out for me and come and say hello, it would be great to meet you.
