VP Vaping Review: You Got E-Juice

You Got E-Juice is an American company based in California. They boast a twenty-nine flavour range which are a 70VG/30PG mix.

Back in October last year I went to the Vaper Expo UK – The Return (You can check out my visit by clicking here). I met the guys from You Got E-Juice Who were also in attendance, it was on the last day and the day was drawing to a close when I went over to see them. At the time there was a gentleman at the stand that I recognised but couldn’t put a name to the face. It wasn’t until afterwards that it clicked, a gentleman called Danny, a photographer and vaping photographer to boot. A guy I occasionally speak to on Twitter @Taylor1210, after the event I messaged him and we both had kind of done the same thing, couldn’t put two and two together. Danny is a fine photographer and you should go and check out his Instagram page @Vape_Visual_Photography.

I spoke with Kayla from You Got E-Juice and she asked me if I would do a review for them and gave me four juices for the purpose of review.

In February of this year I did something rather stupid. We were having some work done on the house and to create the space to do that, we decided to put a whole lot of stuff into storage for a few months. I cleverly didn’t mark up a box that was juices for review and so it went into storage, for nearly four months. Though I had been and tried to find it, I didn’t have any luck. Last week we finally got everything out of storage and sorted. So here is the start of some very overdue reviews, my apologies You Got E-Juice.

Any further information you can go to www.YouGotEJuice.com.

I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.

The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.

With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.

Devices used:

  • Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
  • Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
  • Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil

Strawberry Cheesecake

Scent: biscuit base with strawberry syrup in the background.

Flavour: I love cheesecake and I have had quite a few cheesecake vapes. This one is certainly up there with some of the best I’ve tried. This is definitely a New York style cheesecake vape.

On the inhale I get a soft buttery biscuit base with creamy tones. On to the exhale and the biscuit base continues, but is joined by a rich sweet strawberry syrup (not overly sweet) and creamy back note comes further forward. Right at the end the cream cheese pushes through and leaves my palate all creamy and wanting more. An ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 9/10

Banana Cream

Scent: soft banana with slight creamy notes.

Flavour: not usually a fan of banana vapes but this is done with subtleties which makes it an enjoyable vape for me. It is like the banana has been blended with some thick double cream. I think there maybe a slight hint of a pastry crust?

On the inhale I get this fine blend of soft banana thick and smooth cream. It does remind me a little of a very thick American style milkshake. On to the exhale and the banana cream just fills out and what seems the slightest hint of a pastry crust dancing around in the background. It’s not quite an ADV for me, but a very palatable vape indeed.

VP Review Rating: 7/10

Caramel Custard

Scent: caramel with a rich custard.

Flavour: I know my stuff when it comes to custard vapes, until about a year ago I vaped nothing but custard and searched far and wide for different types. I got it down to what I class as four different types, English custard, American custard, Creme Anglais (french) and hybrid custard – a type that is almost to good to be true and puts a custard vaper into a heavenly state. I find this juice a cross between an American custard and a hybrid custard.

On the inhale I am hit by this rich explosion of heavenly custard which is closely accompanied by a delightfully smooth caramel. On to the exhale all of this accentuates leaving me with a sweet creamy custard palate. Is it an ADV? It is for me.

VP Review Rating: 8/10

Fruity Cereal

Scent: a traditional fruit loops.

Flavour: this flavour is very popular and a lot of companies have done their take on it and I have found that some are very good and some, well, not so good. Cereal in juices can make them quite harsh to vape and it takes a good mixologist to be able to combat that. I am pleased to say that this juice is one that is made very well and is very smooth and still hits all the relevant notes you would require.

On the inhale I get a slight fruity cereal with creamy notes dotting about. On to the exhale and the cereal note remains the same, but the fruitiness is accentuated and the cream notes become fuller. It is not for me, but for someone who enjoys a cereal vape you are going to enjoy this.

VP Review Rating: 5/10

So to my conclusion, I find that You Got E-Juice  have brought four excellent juices to the market. I find them consistent through the range and deliver a full-bodied flavour. They produce some excellent vapour.

They use a very simpicistic design for the labels which really stand out and I love the use of the symbols, cotton, coil, juice and electricity. Very Clever. They have a wonderful website that is clear and easy to use and they also have a blog section with lots of information with regards to vaping.

I believe that they will be at Vaper Expo UK – The Big Weekend this week, if you are going why not go and have a try for yourself. If you are there, look out for me and come and say hello, it would be great to meet you.
