Dvtch Amsterdam are a Dutch company based in Amsterdam (surprise, surprise). They have a five juice range and they are a 85VG/15PG mix. My first time trying and reviewing Dutch juice.
I went to Vape Jam UK 3 this year and had a really enjoyable time (you can read about my visit by clicking here). I met lots of companies that I hadn’t met before and some that I knew very well. I met a fantastic bloke by the name of Rogier from Hardcore Vapers, a distribution company based in Holland. I had a great chat with him and tried all of the juice ranges that were on offer including Slam Cake, E-Phoenix, Cafe Racer (which I have come across before, great juice), Charlie Noble (check out my review by clicking here) and Dvtch Amsterdam which I have for you today.
We swapped details with the idea of contacting each other after the event, throughout the event I met people I knew and they would ask me if there was anything that stood out and the first thing that came to mind was the Hardcore Vapers stand, I had been really impressed.
A week after Vape Jam Rogier contacted me with regards to doing a review and we organised for him to send me some juice. For the purpose of review Rogier sent me two ranges Charlie Noble (check out my review by clicking here) and Dvtch Amsterdam.
It had been a late decision by Hardcore Vapers, but I was to meet up with Rogier again as they were also in attendance at the Vaper Expo UK – The Big Weekend (you can check out my visit by clicking here) it was an awesome weekend.
I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Scent: nutty caramel.
Flavour: I’m not usually one for a tobacco vape, but over the last six months I have come across some well blended tobacco vapes which I have really enjoyed. I do love a nutty vape. This juice brings a blend of nuts, caramel and a soft tobacco. It really is very moreish.
On the inhale I get a blend of nuts, I think there are two types, hazelnut being one, but I can’t quite define the other. On to the exhale and the nuts stay solid through the vape, but are joined by a creamy caramel first and then a soft tobacco that comes in to finish. Very pleasant indeed, is it an ADV? It’s not heavy at all, so I’m going to say yes.

Tom Pouce – Won Best Pastry at Vape Jam UK 3
Scent: custard with pastry tones.
Flavour: oh my goodness this is good. I love a dessert vape and this takes me to seven heaven. On top of that it is really well put together delivering layers of wonderful flavours. In the UK with have a pastry called a custard slice and this juice just reminds me of that. Though the pastry in this juice is not a puff pastry, I am more drawn towards an Italian pastry, has a slight waffle taste to it. This juice is outstanding and very deserving of the award.
On the inhale I get a light crispy sweet pastry. On to the exhale the pastry continues with this wonderful creamy thick custard comes through on top. Just as I am about to finish the exhale a sweetness creeps in like a soft icing leaving my palate and lips sweet. Truly is a divine vape for me. Is it an ADV? erm, yeah!
This juice is not going to last long.
VP Review Rating: 11/10
Flavour: it is well documented that I don’t like liquorice in any form, but I have been surprised on occasion and found a touch of liquorice has been a welcome addition to some juices. But this juice is all about the liquorice and with a slight throat hit it comes across as a good replication of a liquorice sweet.
On the inhale the liquorice starts off quite soft. On the exhale the liquorice accentuates and with some sweet notes which keeps the liquorice toned in. If you love a liquorice vape then you are going to like this juice. It is not for me.

Space Cake – This juice has no CBD or THC in it, taste sensation only
Scent: herby cake.
Flavour: ha ha, firstly this is spot on, secondly how do I know that?
Many years ago I went to Amsterdam and well, ‘When in Rome’. I think I shall just leave it like that. If you are not in the know, Space Cake is a cake made with Marijuana.
On the inhale it tastes like a light herby cake. On to the exhale and I get a more dominant soft moist sponge cake. On top of that, there is like an explosion of the taste of Marijuana and it tastes just like the real thing, you are going to have to trust me on that one, ha ha. For those of you who love the taste of Marijuana then this is for you or even if you just want to reminisce. It is not for me.

Red Light District
Flavour: wow, those berries just pop out at me, what a wonderful vape. Black berries, strawberries, red currants, raspberries, with a creaminess in the background and a sweetness in hints, maybe a honey. This is delightful.
On the inhale I get a rich raspberry to start with what I think is a red currant. On to the exhale and these flavours stay true. Suddenly my taste buds are hit with mini explosions of black berries mainly, but strawberries too and there is this background of cream and slight sweetness. What I really like is that I am able to clearly define what there is in the juice. Amazing, well crafted juice and makes for an ADV for me.

So to my conclusion, I find that Dvtch Amsterdam have brought some fantastic juices to the market. I have been really impressed with the quality of these juices and their craftsmanship. All the juices deliver a full bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour. The samples I received came in boxes and were unicorn style bottles with child safety caps and tamper rings. I love the logo and the design of the labels which I find really stand out. This design work crosses over on to the website tying in everything just perfectly. The website is clear and easy to navigate and has some wonderful imagery. The Hardcore Vapers is equally pleasant but with a more simplistic look to it, also clear and easy to navigate. My first taste of Dutch e-liquid has been a great one and makes me eager to find out more about dutch e-liquid.
