Frisco Vapor are a American company based in Californa. They have five ranges boasting fifteen flavours, with a majority of the juices being a 70VG/30PG mix (I will state otherwise if necessary.
I went to Vape Jam UK 3 this year and had a really enjoyable time (you can read about my visit by clicking here). I met lots of companies that I hadn’t met before and some that I knew very well. I was to meet up with Jean from The Fuu for the third time and it was great to have a catch up with him. I have done a couple of reviews for him previously, you can check them out by clicking here and here. Since the first time of seeing Jean, Jean had secured a UK distributor for his juice by the of House of Vapes, London which was great to see.
House of Vapes, London were also in attendance and I popped over to say hello, I met a wonderful bloke by the name of Ben. He took some time out of his day to talk to me about the business and some of the new ranges they were selling. We spoke about doing some reviews and Ben gave me the following for the purpose of review, Furiosa (review coming soon), Vaponaute (review coming soon) and seven juices from Frisco Vapor which is what I have for you today.
I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Soma – 65VG/35PG
Scent: strawberry with a hint of melon in the background.
Flavour: wow, this took me by surprise, I can normally smell menthol. It is well documented that I’m not one for a menthol vape. This juice is certainly that and with a really good kick of it too, a good enough kick to give a good throat hit. My first thoughts were to a dental mouth wash, but with a much bigger hit of menthol.
On the inhale the menthol slowly builds up and then pow right at the back of the inhale and hitting the throat hard and clearing out the airwaves. On to the exhale and and the menthol dies away leaving me with a fruity back note, mainly strawberry but found the melon that I smelt was very distant. It is not for me.

The Rock – 65VG/35PG
Scent: peach and herbal tea.
Flavour: this is very clever, I’m not a fan of tea so I don’t know which one this is. I know! I’m English and I don’t like tea, I’ve tried it many times just don’t get on with it. There are two defining flavours in this juice, a herbal tea which is the prominent flavour and this beautiful soft fruity peach which dances around in the background. It’s annoying me that I don’t know which tea it is.
On the inhale I get the tea coming through, but not overpowering. On to the exhale and the tea accentuates and is joined by this delicious juicy peach which is definitely a back note, but gives the juice body. For those who enjoy tea with a fruity touch this is a must try. Great juice, I’m afraid it is not for me.
Edit: I had to go and look it up, its Earl Grey.

Powell – 65VG/35PG
Scent: sweet cereal tones.
Flavour: oh wow, this juice is a lovely cereal treat with fruity tones to it. Nothing jumps out at me as to what it might be, but a pleasant vape it is for sure. I find a cereal vape can come across harsh but not with this juice, lovely and smooth. The fruit is hard to clearly define but comes across as mixed berries.
On the inhale I get sweet cereal, but not overly sweet. Right at the back of the inhale leading into the exhale there is wonderful tones of mixed berries. This all comes together giving a delightful unique cereal vape for me and makes for an ADV.
VP Review Rating: 8/10
Scent: candied raspberry.
Flavour: ha ha very clever. If you love a raspberry lollipop then you are going to love this juice. Truly amazing detail to the likeness, it really does fool me into thinking I am sucking on a lollipop.
Throughout the inhale and the exhale I get this soft candied raspberry and there are these notes that help it taste like a lollipop, as I said before very clever. The flavour definitely grows stronger and becomes full-bodied on the exhale. Is it an ADV for me? Most certainly is.
VP Review Rating: 9/10
Scent: sweet mango’s with hints of strawberry.
Flavour: it is really hot here in the UK at the moment and this juice is wonderfully refreshing. A lovely ripe mango and with the addition of the strawberry tones down the bitter notes you can get with mango.
On the inhale I am greeted by a delightful sweet ripe mango. On to the exhale and the mango accentuates and as a back note a soft smooth strawberry joins the mango leaving me wanting more. An ADV for me.

As a rule I don’t like (bubble)gum vapes or the actual thing, but I tried these two juices at the show and really was surprised at how much I enjoyed them, even though I could taste gum.
Pink Lemonade Gum
Scent: spearmint gum with a hint of lemonade.
Flavour: I find this juice weirdly satisfying. The combination of the spearmint gum and the rich lemonade works, never thought I’d find myself saying that.
On the inhale I get the spearmint gum, not overpowering and the mint is just there. On to the exhale I get this wonderfully rich lemonade come through and join the gum delivering a pleasant and refreshing vape. It has to go down as an ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 7/10
Sour Apple Gum
Scent: sour apples.
Flavour: the sour apples make this juice, I love an apple vape. Interestingly the apple is the prominent flavour with the gum being a hint in the background and the mint not really there for me.
On the inhale I great sweet sour apples (the sourness is not too much). Moving on to the exhale and the apple just blossoms into magnificence with a trailing hint of gum in the background. Is it an ADV? It is for me.

So to my conclusion, I find that Frisco Vapor have brought some excellent flavours to the market and though a couple of them aren’t for me, I can tell that they are good juices and will be enjoyed by many. All the juices are consistent and deliver a full-bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour. All the juices are TPD/TRPR compliant and available in the UK. The samples I received came in gorilla style bottles with child safety caps and tamper rings. Some great design work on the labels. Both the Frisco Vapors and House of Vapes London websites are clear and easy to navigate. It seems that House of Vapes have a good eye (or palate) for good juice, I’m looking forward to reviewing the other two companies they gave me for review, keep an eye out for them.
