Cloud Vapory are an American company based in California. They have two ranges with a total of five juices, Cloud Batter (70VG/30PG mix) and Cloud Patrol (70VG/30PG mix).
I went to Vaper Expo UK – The Big weekend and had an excellent time (you can read about my visit by clicking here). One of the things I had really been looking forward to was meeting up with Steve, a fellow reviewer Steve’s Vape Reviews and a friend who speak with quite regularly on twitter. We have met a couple of times before but they were too brief and so I was hoping to see him for more than ten minutes this time and we did.
But I was to have a bonus to the meeting, as Tony of Vivd Vapes was also with him and we all had the opportunity to go and have some lunch together. I knew Tony through twitter also but more from a distance, well that’s the easiest way to put it. Occasionally being involved in the same conversations going on on twitter. Tony has a shop, is known to make some rather good custard juices (I haven’t had the opportunity to try them yet) and he is also a distributor. We did speak briefly about me doing a review for him and we swapped contact details. It was a shame that I didn’t have more time to spend with Steve and Tony, but I am sure there will be other times.
Tony contacted me after the event and sent me out three ranges for the purpose of review. Two juices from C.R.E.A.M VIII and V (please check out my review by clicking here), a three juice range Cloud Patrol (please check out my review by clicking here) and a two juice range Cloud Batter which is what I have for you today.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Scent: cake batter?
Flavour: ha ha, no my sense of smell is not fooling me! This juice is really clever and I do mean very clever. I hope this doesn’t come across as rude, but who would think that people would want to vape cake batter? ha ha, now I’ve tried it, I know I want to vape it. It brings back memories of licking the bowl after mum had finished making a cake.
On the inhale I get a taste of a buttery cake mix, left me guessing a bit. On to the exhale and all becomes clear, a lovely vanilla cake batter mix which is creamy. I don’t know how they did it, but the exhale finishes with these tones of what is unmistakably raw batter mix. Is it an ADV? Most certainly is for me. really impressed.
VP Review Rating: 10/10
Scent: rich mixed berries with a hint of cake.
Flavour: wow, just wow. The berries explode across my palate and there is this wonderful soft vanilla sponge cake in the background. A truly delightful vape. Have I told you I love cake? If you follow me you will know that I didn’t get my fine physic from being reserved when it came to cake, so in a way vaping has saved my waistline too.
On the inhale I am hit with an explosion of sweet mixed berries pinging at my taste buds. On to the exhale and the berries are still there in full force but it is joined by a wonderful vanilla sponge and there are cream notes there too. A great vape and makes for another ADV for me. Outstanding.
VP Review Rating: 10/10
So to my conclusion, I find that Cloud Vapory have brought two fantastic flavours to the market, I am really impressed with both of these juices. Sometimes with ranges like these that a base is used for both and they can sometimes have too many similarities, not with these. Both delivering a unique flavour, full-bodied and producing some excellent vapour. I have really enjoyed Cloud Berry in a tank too, the berries are toned down a little, but still very enjoyable and the juice I have left will not last very long.
All the juices are TPD/TRPR compliant and the samples I received came in unicorn style bottles with child safety caps, shrink wrapped and then in boxes with all the relevant information. I love the labeling and design work, simple but very effective. The design work is carried on to the boxes. Though the website is very simplistic it gives you all the information you need and is easy to navigate. Vivd Vapes is a good site which is clear and easy to navigate. Yet again it seems Tony has an eye for good juice and so I’m looking forward to the last one I have for review, keep an eye out for that.
