Furiosa are a French company. They have a four juice range which are 90VG/10PG.
I went to Vape Jam UK 3 this year and had a really enjoyable time (you can read about my visit by clicking here). I met lots of companies that I hadn’t met before and some that I knew very well. I was to meet up with Jean from The Fuu for the third time and it was great to have a catch up with him. I have done a couple of reviews for him previously, you can check them out by clicking here and here. Since the first time of seeing Jean, Jean had secured a UK distributor for his juice by the of House of Vapes, London which was great to see.
House of Vapes, London were also in attendance and I popped over to say hello, I met a wonderful bloke by the name of Ben. He took some time out of his day to talk to me about the business and some of the new ranges they were selling. We spoke about doing some reviews and Ben gave me the following for the purpose of review, Frisco Vapor (check out my review by clicking here), Vaponaute (review coming soon) and four juices from Furiosa which is what I have for you today.
I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Scent: cereal and milk.
Flavour: what an interesting blend of flavours, with the most prominent flavour being a juicy nectarine. There are cereal notes and a back note of milk, the creamy part. To finish I find a strawberry that is sweetened. With some cereal vapes they tend to be a little harsh to vape, not with this it is lovely and smooth.
On the inhale I am immediately hit with a juicy nectarine which is joined by a slight creaminess right at the back of the inhale. On to the exhale and the nectarine stays true but is joined by a cereal, kind of making for a fruity cereal and a light creamy milk in the background. With surprise, right at the end of the exhale I get a strawberry that emerges leaving my palate sweet and fruity. An ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 7/10
Scent: fruity, hints of orange and dragon fruit.
Flavour: another curious blend. Very fruity with citrus notes and at first I though it was a koolada but no, I think it is a soft sweet mint (or maybe both). It is well documented that I’m not a fan of mint/menthol vapes. But I really enjoyed this.
On the inhale I get dragon fruit that is joined by a cooling sensation. On to the exhale and the dragon fruit is joined by another exotic fruit, can’t pin point which. There is a citrus note in the background which I think is an orange and then I get a soft mint to finish, leaving my palate fruity and refreshed. An ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 7/10
Scent: grape and menthol.
Flavour: as I said above I’m not a fan of menthol vapes. This juice is a menthol vape with the addition of grape and a hint of apple. The menthol has a really good kick to it and for me takes over the juice and I find that though I am able to taste the grape and the slightest hint of apple, I feel that that the fruits are slightly lost within this menthol blast.
On the inhale I get a slight hint of grape to start, but it is taken over by a powerful menthol kick. It is wonderfully smooth. On to the exhale and the menthol continues and then dies down slightly to allow fruity back notes. Only right at the end I can really recognise the fruit as a grape and an apple sit on my palate as I finish the exhale. It is not for me.
VP Review Rating: 5/10
Scent: banana and nuts.
Flavour: oh my goodness, what an experience. With cooked bananas, a blend of nuts and a toffee cream really is a juice like no other. I love a dessert vape and this really is a lovely vape. Heavenly.
On the inhale I get a creamy toffee which just builds up. On to the exhale and the creamy toffee moves back to make way for a cooked banana and blend of nuts that is there in the background. Not a lot more I can say, a lovely vape and an ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 8/10
So to my conclusion, I find that Furiosa have brought some very different flavours to the market. Delivering some slightly unusual blends. They are all consistent through the range and deliver a full-bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour. For me, if you are looking for something slightly different to what else is out there, then this is a good place to start.
The samples I received came in chubby unicorn style bottles with child safety caps an tamper rings. All the juices are TPD/TRPR compliant. The design work on the labels are amazing and this is carried over on to their colourful website with some great images and videos about the products. The website is easy and clear to navigate. I am interested to see what else the guys at Furiosa come out with.
