VP Vaping Review: Vapour Bakers

Vapour Bakers are a UK company based in Cardiff, Wales. They have one range with four flavours and they are a 80VG/20PG mix. They are distributed by Colin and Gorilla Vapour.

Last year I attended my first event Vape Jam UK 2 (if you would like to check out my visit please click here) I met a gentleman called Colin, it was a very brief meeting. But in October last year I attended Vaper Expo UK – The Return (you can check out my visit by clicking here) and I met Colin again with his newly formed distribution company Gorilla Vapour, it was great to see him and have a chat about the future for him and his company.

This year I went to Vape Jam UK 3 in London and had an excellent time (if you would like to check out my visit then click here). To my surprise I bumped into Colin again, it was fantastic to see Colin again and it was great to see the growth of the company. This time we spoke about some reviews that he would like me to do. Colin gave me for the purpose of review Tornado Pro (you can check out my review by clicking here), Vice City (check out my review by clicking here), Efizz (you can check out my review by clicking here) and Vapour Bakerswhich I have four flavours from the range for you today.

I most recently went to Vaper Expo UK – The Big Weekend (you can check out my visit by clicking here). It was an awesome weekend and I was to meet up with Colin once again and he had a much bigger stand this time. On the Friday evening I went to the Vapouround Awards (you can check out my visit by clicking here) where I saw Simply Vapour come third in the Best Tobacco category and Simply Vapour were being distributed by Colin and Gorilla Vapour, after a chat with Colin and Brady (owner of Simply Vapour) the following day I was asked if I would do a review of some of their juices. (you can check out my review by clicking here).

I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.

The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.

With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.

Devices used:

  • Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
  • Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
  • Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil

Blueberry Muffin

Scent: blueberries and cake.

Flavour:  if you follow me, you will know I’m quite partial to a little bit of cake. My favourite type of muffin is a blueberry muffin. I have tried a lot of muffin flavoured juices and I have found me wanting more from them. With this juice however I find they have really done a good job.

On the inhale I get a slight taste of freshly baked muffin. On to the exhale and the muffin is accentuated and joined by blueberries that also tasted baked. the blueberries kind of pop up and hit my taste buds with a muffin staying true, fresh, moist and delightful. An ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 9/10

Vanilla Slice

Scent: cream.

Flavour: wow, this is a lovely juice. One of my favourite pastries is a vanilla slice, it does make for a messy eat with a beard. So it is good that I can vape my favourite pastry.

I think it is slightly unfortunate that I have recently reviewed another vanilla slice juice which I thought very highly of. Because with this juice I’m finding that I could do with a little more pastry and though there is the sweet finish I could do with it tasting more like icing and not just sweet.

Please, this is a really good flavour and a delightful vape, it is very much a close second place.

On the inhale I get a lovely rich cream that builds into the inhale. On to the exhale and the cream fills out with hints of a puff pastry sitting in the background. It finishes with sweet notes that pop up right at the end of the exhale. It is still very much an ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 8/10

Jam Doughnut

Scent: strawberry jam with bakery notes.

Flavour: oh my goodness, what a great jam doughnut. It is a flavour that has been done by many and I feel that it is done well by few. This is one of the best jam doughnut vapes I have tried to date. Well done.

On the inhale I am met with a beautiful strawberry jam, not overly sweet, just right. On to the exhale and the jam continues through and is joined by this delightful freshly baked doughnut which comes in and surrounds the jam. The sour notes are well controlled and makes for a very pleasant ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 9/10

 Key Lime Sublime

Scent: creamy lime with pastry notes.

Flavour: wow, just wow. Nothing like saving the best until last. I love a lime vape and this certainly hits the spot for me. With a creamy lime which still gives a lovely zing and with a good pastry base, this makes for an excellent key lime pie.

On the inhale I get this wonderful crumbly pastry with a hint of lime. On to the exhale and the pastry is still there in good strength, but this fantastic creamy lime pops up with the sharp notes tantalising  my taste buds. Is it an ADV? Certainly is for me.

VP Review Rating: 10/10

So to my conclusion, I find that Vapour Bakers have brought some excellent juices to the market. All the juices have a great consistency through the range. They all deliver a full-bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour. I have been really impressed with the range, it does help that I am a huge bakery vape fan, so this range has been right up my street. A great selection of juices.

The samples I received came in unicorn style bottles with child safety caps and tamper rings. They are all TPD/TRPR compliant. I love the labeling with a retro feel to them, which makes them stand out. They have a simple website which is clear and easy to navigate. The Gorilla Vapour website is a great site with a modern feel to it. At present Vapour Bakers juices are not showing as available, I assume waiting on stock. I will update this when I know any different. Colin, the UK needs this juice in their lives.
