Last year I attended my first event Vape Jam UK 2 (if you would like to check out my visit please click here) I met a gentleman called Colin, it was a very brief meeting. But in October last year I attended Vaper Expo UK – The Return (you can check out my visit by clicking here) and I met Colin again with his newly formed distribution company Gorilla Vapour, it was great to see him and have a chat about the future for him and his company.
This year I went to Vape Jam UK 3 in London and had an excellent time (if you would like to check out my visit then click here). To my surprise I bumped into Colin again, it was fantastic to see Colin again and it was great to see the growth of the company. This time we spoke about some reviews that he would like me to do. Colin gave me for the purpose of review Vapour Bakers (you can check out my review by clicking here), Tornado Pro (you can check out my review by clicking here), Efizz (you can check out my review by clicking here) and Vice City, which I have three flavours from the range for you today.
I most recently went to Vaper Expo UK – The Big Weekend (you can check out my visit by clicking here). It was an awesome weekend and I was to meet up with Colin once again and he had a much bigger stand this time. On the Friday evening I went to the Vapouround Awards (you can check out my visit by clicking here) where I saw Simply Vapour come third in the Best Tobacco category and Simply Vapour were being distributed by Colin and Gorilla Vapour, after a chat with Colin and Brady (owner of Simply Vapour) the following day I was asked if I would do a review of some of their juices. (you can check out my review by clicking here).
I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Blood Moon Nora
Scent: passion fruit and mango.
Flavour: what a lovely exotic fruit juice. What I really like about it, is that the mango sits further back and doesn’t take over the juice. I believe there are three fruits, passion fruit, guava and mango.
On the inhale I get a wonderful passion fruit that caresses my taste buds. On to the exhale and the joining guava just blossoms with the passion fruit dying back a little. The mango is right at the back until right at the end of the exhale where it pushes through and I’m left with the ripe mango sitting on my palate. An ADV for me.

Master Raider Dave
Flavour: it is well documented that I’m neither a fan of menthol/koolada. But I have tried many and I know what makes a good juice. This juice is an iced orange, the orange starts of really well and there is the heavy hit of koolada. But right at the end of the exhale there is this unpleasant tang, maybe it is the orange that does tail off right. It is for only a moment but I’ve found it a little off putting. Not what I was hoping for.
On the inhale I get a fresh orange that is soon taken over by a whoosh of koolada that chills the throat, it is lovely and smooth. On to the exhale and the koolada calms down and the fresh orange returns. About half way through the orange turns to a tang that coats my taste buds momentarily.

Brain Freeze Hunter
Scent: menthol with hints of blueberry.
Flavour: so this is a menthol juice and delivers a different experience to the Master Raider Dave. There is a really good blueberry in this juice and the menthol is fairly hard hitting, but doesn’t blow me away.
On the inhale I get a wonderful blueberry which is soon taken over by a menthol that hits my throat, but not too hard. On to the exhale and the blueberry soon returns and becomes intertwined with the menthol. It is not for me.

So to my conclusion, I find that Vice City Vapour have brought a couple of good juices to the market. Though I was a little disappointed with the one juice and I think the other two are desirable. The juices are full-bodied and produce some excellent vapour.
The samples I received came in unicorn style bottles with child safety caps and tamper rings. They are all TPD/TRPR compliant. I love the labeling with the adult cartoon characters which make them stand out. They have a great website with some great design work, it is clear and easy to navigate. The Gorilla Vapour website is a great site with a modern feel to it. At present Vice City Vapour juices are not showing as available, I assume waiting on stock. I will update this when I know any different. Colin, the UK needs this juice in their lives.
If you require further information on Vice City Vapour.
You can also find them on social media;
I’d like to say thank you to Colin of Gorilla Vapour for giving me these juices for review.
