VP Vaping Review: Tuxedo Vapes – Part 2

Tuxedo Vapes are a UK company based in London. They have four ranges to boast, The Classic Edition (three juices), The Dark Edition (three juices), The Gold Edition (two juices) and The Cake Vape (two juices).

I first met Tuxedo Vapes back in August last year at an event in Birmingham called Cloud Sessions 4 (you can read about my visit by clicking here).

I was to meet the guys at Tuxedo Vapes again at Vape Jam UK 3 earlier this year (you can check out my visit by clicking here) and they had just launched a new range with two new flavours – The Cake Vape. You can check out my review by clicking here.

I went to Vaper Expo UK – The Big Weekend and had an excellent time (you can read about that by clicking here). I was to meet up with the guys at Tuxedo Vapes and I spoke with them about the business and how they were dealing with TPD/TRPR regulations. It was great to see the wonderful packaging they had produced.

Edit: Since doing this review I’ve done a couple of other reviews for them

They gave me two juices from their Gold Edition and one juice from their Classic Edition for the purpose of review.
I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.

The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.

With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.

Devices used:

  • Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
  • Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
  • Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil

Classic Edition

Scent: a milky coffee.

Flavour: wow, this really is a great coffee vape, it has this wonderful nuttiness in the back ground too. For me it is a high quality coffee which toned down by the lovely addition of almost a frothy milk and then this nutty taste. All in very good measure.

On the inhale I get this wonderful coffee which builds into the inhale. On to the exhale and the coffee continues through with the frothy milk joining it, toning the coffee down and make it creamy. Throughout the exhale there are nutty tones that dance around in the back ground. Leaving my palate as though I had had a lovely cup of coffee. This would certainly be a lovely morning vape for me, but is it an ADV? I think it could be.

VP Review Rating: 9/10

Gold Edition

Scent: lychee and mint.

Flavour: it is well documented that I’m not a fan of menthol/mint vapes, but I have tried enough to know what is good and I am able to give critic. This juice did take me by surprise on how much I have enjoyed it. For me there is a lovely guava with the lychee sitting behind it and then this sweet mint, but in good measure. Very palatable.

On the inhale I get the guava to start and the lychee is slow to join in. On to the exhale and these soft fruits come together with the lychee just sitting behind, a lovely soft sweet mint comes in to chill the vape slightly. A delightfully refreshing ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 8/10

Scent: fresh peach with a hint of plum.

Flavour: oh my goodness, this a super vape. The peach and the plum are spot on and the addition of the garden mint is splendid. Really is a divine fruity vape.

On the inhale I get this wonderful fresh juicy peach that makes my mouth water. On to the exhale and the peach is overtaken by a delicious plum that is just oozing. A touch of garden mint comes in to give a cool breeze at the finish of the exhale. Really like the measures put into this juice, very clever. Certainly an ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 10/10

So to my conclusion, I find that Tuxedo Vapes have brought three fantastic juices to the market. They all deliver an excellent full-bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour. I’m really impressed with the juices, the attention to detail when mixing is second to none. These juices are certainly going to be enjoyed by the flavour connoisseurs out there.

The samples I received came in gorilla style bottles with child safety caps and tamper rings. They also came in some lovely boxes which look really classy, they are all TPD/TRPR compliant. I love the foil designs on the labeling very simplistic and smart which makes them stand out. They have a great website which is clear and easy to navigate. It also has some great images.
