VP Vaping Review: T’s Red ‘n’ Yellow

T’s Custard Line is made by Tony at Vivd Vapes and is a UK distribution company based in Barnet. The range is a shake and vape and comes as a 70VG/30PG mix.

I went to Vaper Expo UK – The Big weekend and had an excellent time (you can read about my visit by clicking here). One of the things I had really been looking forward to was meeting up with Steve, a fellow reviewer Steve’s Vape Reviews and a friend who speak with quite regularly on twitter. We have met a couple of times before but they were too brief and so I was hoping to see him for more than ten minutes this time and we did.

But I was to have a bonus to the meeting, as Tony of Vivd Vapes was also with him and we all had the opportunity to go and have some lunch together. I knew Tony through twitter also but more from a distance, well that’s the easiest to put it. Occasionally being involved in the same conversations going on on twitter. We did speak briefly about me doing a review for him and we swapped contact details. It was a shame that I didn’t have more time to spend with Steve and Tony, but I am sure there will be other times.

Tony contacted me after the event and sent me out three ranges for the purpose of review. A three juice range Cloud Patrol (please check out my review by clicking here) and a two juice range Cloud Batter (please check out my review by clicking here) and two juices from C.R.E.A.M (please check out my review by by clicking here).

Tony sent me out his own juice line T’s Custard the first two juices you can check my review by clicking here.  I was then sent out a third, Zeppole which you can check out my review by clicking here. I was then sent out a new addition to the family, which is what I have for you today.

As the range is a shake and vape, I have bought a nicotine shot to add, so that I can test the juice at its full potential.

The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.

With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.

Devices used:

  • Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
  • Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
  • Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil

T’s Red ‘n’ Yellow

Scent: custard and biscuit with a hint of strawberry.

Flavour: my first thoughts went towards a strawberry cheesecake, but as the custard kicked in it changed my thoughts on it. For me the strawberry is hinted at, not bursting out. I think I would have liked a little more of the strawberry. The biscuit in the back ground is lovely, all sweet and wheaty like a Digestive. It comes across to me like a little biscuit tart with a good helping of T’s Custard and a solitary piece of strawberry.

On the inhale I get T’s wonderful custard rolling in building through the inhale and at the last moment joined by a hint of the biscuit. On to the exhale and the custard blossoms with a slight coating of strawberry and just before the finish the delightful biscuit is back to tantalise my taste buds. It is still a very good ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 7/10

So to my conclusion, I find that Tony with T’s Custard Line has brought yet another great juice to the market to join a fantastic range of custard delights. Delivering great flavour and producing some excellent vapour. I would have liked the strawberry to come through a little more for my palate. Saying that, it is still a very good flavoured juice. Tony certainly brings a touch of class to the making of custard. I wonder what will be next?

The sample I received came in gorilla style bottle with child safety cap and a tamper ring. It is TPD/TRPR compliant. There is some great designs to the labeling. Tony has a great website which is clear and easy to navigate.
