Tuxedo Vapes are a UK company based in London. They have six ranges to boast, The Classic Edition (three juices), The Dark Edition (three juices), The Gold Edition (two juices), The Cake Vape (two juices), Vape a Latte (two juices) and Cyda Vape (two juices).
I first met Tuxedo Vapes back in August 2016 at an event in Birmingham called Cloud Sessions 4 (you can read about my visit by clicking here).
I was to meet the guys at Tuxedo Vapes again at Vape Jam UK 3 (you can check out my visit by clicking here) and they had just launched a new range with two new flavours – The Cake Vape. You can check out my review by clicking here.
I went to Vaper Expo UK – The Big Weekend and had an excellent time (you can read about that by clicking here). I was to meet up with the guys at Tuxedo Vapes and I spoke with them about the business and how they were dealing with TPD/TRPR regulations. It was great to see the wonderful packaging they had produced.
They gave me two juices from their Gold Edition and one juice from their Classic Edition you can check out my review by clicking here.
I was to meet them again at the Vaper Expo UK – A Celebration of Vaping in October and was introduced to two new ranges, Cyda Vape (check out my review by clicking here) and Vape a Latte which is what I have for you today.
I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Aspire Pegasus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Triton2 with Clapton 0.5ohm coil
- Innokin CoolFire plus 70W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Scent: a creamy coffee with the scent of Irish whiskey.
Flavour: Tuxedo Vapes did a wonderful coffee vape in their Classic Range – Italian. This juice hands down beats it for me. I have started to really enjoy a coffee vape and I love this one. It is just like how I like my coffee, rich and strong coffee that is toned down with plenty of milk and a slight sweetness.
I was really impressed with it at the Expo when I tried it and even more so since I have had it at home on my own set up.
On the inhale I get a lovely smooth creamy rich latte. On the exhale I do get a little bit of a throat hit, but personally I like it. As the exhale continues I get delightful coffee tones hitting my taste buds and leaves me with a very pleasant coffee taste to my palate. Though I could smell the whisky from the bottle I have had trouble trying to taste it, feeling that it has become a little lost and just adding to what is a great tasting juice. I did move the wattage about to see if that helped, but didn’t find much change.
For me this has to be one of finest coffee vapes that I have certainly come across to date, I cannot fault it.
VP Review Rating: 11/10
Scent: I get a strong scent of tea with some creamy notes too.
Flavour: first things first, I am not a tea lover in the slightest. But that does help because all the notes that I don’t like are there and really does taste like tea with additions.
A long with the tea taste I’m getting some spices and then a creaminess in the background.
On the inhale I get a rich dark tea with a hint of spices, very smooth throughout. On to the exhale and the tea and spices accentuate with creamy back notes. It leaves my palate with tones of the tea and spices. If you like a Chai latte then you will enjoy this juice.
I have a friend who comes to see me and like myself loves trying out flavours and seeing how accurate mixologists are with their juices. He had popped in when I was trialing this juice and he loves a Chai Latte. I gave him some of this juice to try and he couldn’t believe how good it was and the accuracy, well in his words “Spot on!”. We talked more about it and he told me that I should go to a coffee house and try it.
So that is what I did, I went and bought a Chai Latte and I did a comparison. I wasn’t really surprised as I have come to know the quality that comes from Tuxedo Vapes.
In my own words “spot on”.
As promised, this bottle will be heading over to my friend to enjoy now that this review is over.
VP Review Rating: 10/10
So to my conclusion, I find that Tuxedo Vapes have brought yet another two fantastic juices to the market. They both deliver a superb full-bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour. I’m really impressed with the juices. The Irish in my opinion is the best creamy coffee vape I’ve tried to date.
When having dinner at my In-laws, at the end of the dinner my father-in-law will make comment on the dinner. He would say “Truly above average today dear”. Which seemed a rather strange comment and so I asked about his comment, his answer “Well Peter, when the average meal I get is excellent it can only mean one thing”.
So what I say about this juice is “it is truly above average”.
The samples I received came in gorilla style bottles with child safety caps, tamper rings and they come well sealed. They also came in some lovely boxes which look really classy, as you can see from the photo below the tip comes separately in its own compartment. I love the designs on the labeling, looking fresh and smart which makes them stand out. They have a great website which is clear and easy to navigate. It also has some great images.

VP Review Rating explained, when scoring a juice I’m looking at the quality of the juice, how close I feel the flavour is to what it says it is and how I find it stands along side other flavours of the same type on the market:
11/10 = Awesome Stuff
8/10 – 10/10 = Differing levels of excellence
5/10 – 7/10 = Differing levels of Goodness
0/10 – 4/10 = I have issues with it
There have been a few changes to the way I write my review to be compliant with the TPD/TRPR regulations that came into force on the 20/05/17. If you would like any further details on the regulations, please click here.
