Vaping Review: Juice ‘N’ Power

Juice ‘N’ Power is made by AMA VapeLabs Ltd a UK company based in Preston. They have a four juice range and they are launching another range very soon.

I was contacted by Juice ‘N’ Power on Instagram and asked if I would do a review for them. They sent me the range for the purpose of review.

These are a shortfill range and so I have added nicotine shots. Nicotine can sometimes change the flavour of a juice or make the juice react differently, so for me to test properly I think it is important to have it as it would be vaped by a customer. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.

The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.

With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.

Devices used:

  • Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 60watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
  • Vaptio Solo II @ 50watts with 0.25ohm coil
  • Sigelei/KAOS Spectrum 220W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil

Surge

Scent: a very strong mango with a hint of sweet peach.

Flavour: this a fruity vape and I get a tingle to the tongue too. The juice actually reminds me of those sugar coated Haribo sweets. The mango isn’t over powering, the blend with the peach sits perfectly for me. It is certainly a mouth watering vape for me.

On the inhale I get a soft smooth peach that builds into the inhale. On to the exhale and the mango comes in in an explosion of fruity goodness. I get a tingling sensation to my tongue (which I quite like) and there are some heavy sweet notes, leaving my palate very sweet indeed. It is very much an ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 8/10

Shock

Scent: like the Refresher sweets.

Flavour: haha, this tastes like I have taken a handful of Refresher sweets and put them in my mouth. Lots of mixed fruits going on, nothing clearly defined and I’m getting the same tingling sensation as with the Surge. A pleasant vape.

On the inhale I get a mix of tantalising mixed fruits. Its like a dried fruit taste that you get with the sweets. This increases on to the exhale with the sensation of tingling across my tongue. An ADV for me. Certainly one for those who love a candy vape.

VP Review Rating: 7/10

Spark

Scent: a distinctive watermelon and a mint.

Flavour: I’m not a huge fan of watermelon, but a lime has been added to this juice which mixed with the watermelon makes quite a unique flavour. Neither flavours being prominent. Though only mild I think that  they have gone for a fresh mint which does come across quite sweet. I’ve actually found this rather pleasurable.

On the inhale i start to get a taste of a soft lime which has a watermelon that joins it and becomes one. I also get a sweet mint that creeps into the inhale. On to the exhale I think I can taste a touch of fresh mint and then this blend of watermelon and lime comes through, plenty of sweet notes. The  lime is very calm with no sharp and sour notes. A very refreshing but sweet ADV for me.

VP Review Rating: 8/10

Strike

Scent: Cantaloupe melon.

Flavour: This took me by surprise, I can normally smell menthol. This juice certainly blows away the cobwebs, in a good way. A much harder hitting sweet menthol than the Spark. But what is great is that the melon doesn’t get lost in it.

On the inhale it is very much about the sweet menthol that hits me like a freight train. But as soon as I start the exhale I get a lovely juicy melon that comes in to play and remains leaving my palate, though rather cool, fruity as well. Its not for me, but this could be very popular with those who enjoy a melon menthol vape.

VP Review Rating: 8/10

So to my conclusion, I find that Juice ‘N’ Power have brought four powerful and vibrant flavours to the market. All of the juices deliver a full-bodied flavour and produce excellent vapour. Some impressive flavours. I do have to note than during testing I noticed that my cotton was changing colour quite quickly which is usually a sign of a high sugar content, just something you should be aware of.

The samples I received came in glass bottles with pipettes, child safety caps and tamper rings. They also came in boxes. I love the bright coloured labeling which make them stand out. Though it is nice to get a little more juice in your bottle, it is however frustrating if you can’t get all of your nicotine shot in as well. I found with all of the bottles that there wasn’t enough space to put my nicotine shot in and I had to go and find something to decant the juice into. They have a great website which is clear and easy to navigate.

VP Review Rating explained, when scoring a juice I’m looking at the quality of the juice, how close I feel the flavour is to what it says it is and how I find it stands along side other flavours of the same type on the market:

11/10 = Awesome Stuff

8/10 – 10/10 = Differing levels of excellence

5/10 – 7/10 = Differing levels of Goodness

0/10 – 4/10 = I have issues with it

There have been a few changes to the way I write my review to be compliant with the TPD/TRPR regulations that came into force on the 20/05/17. If you would like any further details on the regulations, please click here.
