Nitro’s Cold Brew are a US company. They have a three juice range. They are sold by Hand Picked Vapes.
I was contacted by Hand Picked Vapes to do a review on some of the products they offer. I took a look around their website and I was impressed to see that it wasn’t just another online vape shop, but they were offering something else. That something else is hand picked selection boxes which are put together from their inventory and put into display boxes and there is the option to have these wrapped. With several different wrapping options as well. This company was going down the gift set root and I liked how they were doing it. This is definitely something different to what I have seen before.
You can also buy just the juice you are after too. Win, win in my book. I have already reviewed a couple of the ranges that they have on offer. Both award winning – Vape Dodo (click here for the review) and EVC- Empire Vape Co. (click here for the review).
I was sent out from Hand Picked Vapes two juices from TMax Juices (check out the review by clicking here), four juices from Glorious Potions (check out the review by clicking here) and three juices from Nitro’s Cold Brew which is what I have for you today.
These are a shortfill range and so I have added nicotine shots. Nicotine can sometimes change the flavour of a juice or make the juice react differently, so for me to test properly I think it is important to have it as it would be vaped by a customer. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Joyetech Cuboid 150W @ 60watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Vaptio Solo II @ 50watts with 0.25ohm coil
- Sigelei/KAOS Spectrum 220W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
It is well documented that I’m not a fan of menthol vapes, but through reviewing I have come across and tasted a lot and feel I know what makes for a good menthol vape. However, I do love a coffee vape, so I am interested in seeing what they have done with these juices.
White Chocolate Mocha
Scent: chocolate syrup with hint of menthol.
Flavour: well there is certainly an ‘ice’ touch to this, so it lives up to its name of being a cold brew. I’ve had to take a few vapes on this to get down to taste the other flavours going on. I get a hint of a dark coffee first but find it is taken over by a very sweet chocolate syrup flavour. To me, it feels a little unbalanced.
On the inhale it is all about the cold icy rush. On to the exhale as the chill thaws I get the taste of a black coffee which is short lived and then taken over by a sweet chocolate syrup flavour. With Mocha being my favourite type of coffee this juice left me a little disappointed.
VP Review Rating: 5/10
Scent: this smells like a mild custard.
Flavour: oh wow, this is lovely. It’s funny when I smelt it and then was going to vape it, I got it into my head that it would be an iced custard. But it’s not! I get the freeze first as with the other one, but afterwards I get a lovely sweet and creamy vanilla coffee.
On the inhale once again it is the cold icy rush. But it is all about the exhale as the chill wears off I get this beautiful creamy luscious vanilla coffee. Personally if this juice didn’t have the cold touch I could vape this all day, everyday. Yum, yum.
VP Review Rating: 9/10
Scent: sweet coffee.
Flavour: yep, this is rather good too. Once the chill has calmed I get a delightful sweet but accurate Macchiato. Really is a good blend.
Like the others I get the cold icy rush on the inhale. On to the exhale as the iciness dies away I get a true and tasty rich coffee which is quite sweet. Certainly an ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 8/10
So to my conclusion, I find that Nitro’s Cold Brew have brought two great juices to the market. I found the White Chocolate Mocha a little unbalanced but still a good enough vape. The other two deliver a full-bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour. If you like the idea of a chilled coffee vape then these are rather good. On a personal note, I would love to see these juices without the chill, I think they would be an awesome vape.
The samples I received came in gorilla style bottles with child safety caps and tamper rings. Very clear and simplistic labeling. I can’t find a website for the company, but the Hand Picked Vapes website is a great site with a modern feel to it.

VP Review Rating explained, when scoring a juice I’m looking at the quality of the juice, how close I feel the flavour is to what it says it is and how I find it stands along side other flavours of the same type on the market:
11/10 = Awesome Stuff
8/10 – 10/10 = Differing levels of excellence
5/10 – 7/10 = Differing levels of Goodness
0/10 – 4/10 = I have issues with it
There have been a few changes to the way I write my review to be compliant with the TPD/TRPR regulations that came into force on the 20/05/17. If you would like any further details on the regulations, please click here.
