I was contacted by Vape Club and asked if I would do a review and I was sent out the full range for the purpose of review. I had been to Vape Jam UK 4 earlier this year and I did have a little taster of the range, so I am please to have them to give a proper testing on my devices.
I have mentioned many times before that going to events and trying juice can come across as being amazing and then you buy some, get it home and into your own device and it doesn’t quite live up to expectation. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.
These are a shortfill range and so I have added the nicotine shots. Nicotine can sometimes change the flavour of a juice or make the juice react differently, so for me to test properly I think it is important to have it as it would be vaped by a customer.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Vaporesso Tarot 200W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Vaptio Solo II @ 50watts with 0.25ohm coil
- Sigelei/KAOS Spectrum 220W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Fresh Pink of Bel Air
Scent: there are berries, but there is something else and I can’t quite put my finger on it.
Flavour: this is a very refreshing vape and there are some surprising touches to it too. There are some sweet berries and a hint of koolada to give that refreshing feel. But there is something else, I’m going to say floral, it is only hinted at. I can tell that there is something there but not sure what it is. However, this juice is super smooth.
On the inhale I get sweet berries and the koolada starts to caress my throat right at the end of the inhale. On to the exhale and the koolada pushes further forward cooling down the sweet berries. Midway through the exhale I get slight floral notes, whatever it is helps to make this vape silky smooth and an ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 8/10
Scent: it smells just like a lime fruit pastille.
Flavour: I do love a citrus vape and there are qualities of this juice I really do like. I’m impressed with the balance of flavours, being able to taste the lime, lemon and an orange (it does taste more like orange peel to me). For me I would have liked those citruses to jump out and attack my taste buds. I feel the addition of the koolada tones this down. That shouldn’t be taken as a negative point, but a personal note. Citrus vapes can come across harsh if not mixed well, this juice is wonderfully smooth.
On the inhale I get citrus notes which become more defined with the lime coming first and then a back note of lemon. Right at the back of the inhale the koolada comes in. On to the exhale and the lime and lemon come further forward along with an icy touch of koolada. There is enough sweet notes on the citruses to keep the sharp notes at bay. Towards the end of the exhale I get these lovely deep tones of orange in the background. This is most certainly an ADV for me.
As I said, really impressed with the mixing skills of this juice.
VP Review Rating: 10/10
Flavour: interestingly I get three types of grape in this juice and the slightest touch of koolada, which is used to help generate a fizz sensation. For me I could feel the hint of koolada but didn’t get much of a fizz (but that might be just my palate). Now with the grape or I should say grapes, I get one very juicy grape flavour and then two types of candy grapes, a hard candy grape and a gummy bear grape (a little soapy for me). They are all very cleverly layered and whether I’m correct with my break down or not, the blend does make for a very satisfying vape.
On the inhale I get a fruity grape that builds into the inhale. On to the exhale and for me these three grapes burst out as one mass of grapey goodness and then separate momentarily for me to recognise the added grapes. There is a hint of koolada that slightly tantalises the palate.
VP Review Rating: 8/10
Flavour: in my house we go through bananas like there is no tomorrow, occasionally we have some that become over ripe and the kids turn their noses up at them. My wife makes banana muffins with them, using wholemeal flour. This juice reminds me of them, I get the banana which is in good measure but I also get these wheaty and nutty tones. There is also a sweetness to it, not sugary sweet, fruity sweet. It is rather a good vape (the cakes are rather good too).
On the inhale I get this baked muffin taste with sweet tones and I get a banana right at the back of the inhale. On to the exhale and this blend of banana, wheat (muffin) and nutty is accentuated. There is also a fruity sweetness in the background as the exhale finishes. An ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 9/10
Scent: mixed berries with a hint of menthol.
Flavour: well that certainly clears the airwaves and those of you who love a fruity menthol might want to have a try of this. For me when a menthol hits as well and as hard as that I loose the majority of the berries. But then I’m more of a fruity fan than a menthol fan. I’d like to see those berries pop a little more.
On the inhale I get tones of mixed berries which is quickly over taken by a whoosh of menthol hitting my throat tingling the bottom of nasal passage. On to the exhale and the menthol continues calming slightly to let the berries back into play.
VP Review Rating: 7/10
Scent: bakery and jam tones.
Flavour: this starts out so well and then becomes disappointing I’m afraid. The doughnut part is rather good and on the inhale I get rather excited. The exhale starts out ok with a sweet strawberry coming in. There is a custard, but a weak custard. It actually reminds me of being at school and last in queue for dinner and the staff are running out of custard so they add some hot water to it. Really sorry Large Juice Co. you should have left the custard out and this could have been a whole different story.
On the inhale I get this wonderfully fresh baked doughnut and it builds into the inhale. On to the exhale and the bakery item is joined by a short sharp hit of strawberry jam. I then get a change of the doughnut disappearing behind a weak custard just fighting to be something and not winning.
A disappointing finish to what had a great start.
VP Review Rating: 4/10
So to my conclusion, I find that Large Juice Co. have brought five excellent juices to the market. Delivering a full-bodied flavour and producing some excellent vapour. I am impressed with the quality of mixing of the first four especially. Being a dessert vape fan and trying the others I was really looking forward to what they had done with Donut Worry. I’m afraid it doesn’t work for me.
The samples I received came in gorilla style bottles with child safety caps and tamper rings. They also came in boxes. I love the simplistic labeling all in bright colours which make them stand out. They have a great website which is clear and easy to navigate.

VP Review Rating explained, when scoring a juice I’m looking at the quality of the juice, how close I feel the flavour is to what it says it is and how I find it stands alongside other flavours of the same type on the market:
11/10 = Awesome Stuff
8/10 – 10/10 = Differing levels of excellence
5/10 – 7/10 = Differing levels of Goodness
0/10 – 4/10 = I have issues with it
There have been a few changes to the way I write my review to be compliant with the TPD/TRPR regulations that came into force on the 20/05/17. If you would like any further details on the regulations, please click here.
