VP Vaping Review: KEKE! by Ohmboyz Drip City

Ohmboyz Drip City is a Canadian company based in Montreal. At present they have a six juice range. They are a 70VG/30PG mix.

I went to the Vaper Expo UK – The Return back in October and I was lucky enough to bump into Alex again and he kindly gave me his newest flavour for the purpose of review. It has been a pleasure watching the growth of this company since our first meeting back in 2016. I have taken great enjoyment from what Alex has created and always look forward to the next addition. If you would like to check out my reviews of the previous five flavours then please click on the links below.

This are a shortfill range and so I have added a nicotine shot. Nicotine can sometimes change the flavour of a juice or make the juice react differently, so for me to test properly I think it is important to have it as it would be vaped by a customer. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of this juice.

The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.

With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.

Devices used:

  • Vaporesso Tarot 200W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
  • Vaptio Solo II @ 50watts with 0.25ohm coil
  • Sigelei/KAOS Spectrum 220W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil

KEKE!

Scent: melons.

Flavour: Alex does it again! Another sensationally fruity and desserty vape. This mouthwatering delight delivers subtle creams, mixed berries with a predominant melon to top it off. I think there is a couple of types of melon. What I really like is how with each draw there can be a slightly different experience. This juice is sublimely moreish.

On the inhale I get cream notes mixed with a blend of dark berries. On to the exhale and the berries die down, the cream becomes bolder with some lovely sweet tones. The melon blend explodes out tantalising my taste buds, leaving me with a slightly creamy and fruity  palate. Is it an ADV? Sure is.

VP Review Rating: 11/10

So to my conclusion, I find that Ohmboyz Drip City have brought another fantastic juice to the market. I think that it is outstanding that someone can bring such an excellent range, they all deliver superb flavour and produce excellent vapour. What I like most about the range is they all bring something unique, there is no copying going on here. I have a great respect for Alex and his mixology. He stands head and shoulders above a lot of others in the industry in my opinion. Thank you for bringing this joy into my life.

The sample I received came in a gorilla style bottle with child safety cap and tamper ring. As with the whole range I love the design work on the labels which make them stand out. They have a great website which is clear and easy to navigate.

VP Review Rating explained, when scoring a juice I’m looking at the quality of the juice, how close I feel the flavour is to what it says it is and how I find it stands alongside other flavours of the same type on the market:

11/10 = Awesome Stuff

8/10 – 10/10 = Differing levels of excellence

5/10 – 7/10 = Differing levels of Goodness

0/10 – 4/10 = I have issues with it

I try to write my review to be compliant with the TPD/TRPR regulations that came into force on the 20/05/17. If you would like any further details on the regulations, please click here.
