Vapeston are a Chinese company based in Shenzhen. They have several tanks to their name which seem to be built for high wattage sub-ohm vaping.
I was at the latest Vaper Expo UK back at the beginning of May and I met the guys from Vapeston and they asked me if I would do a review of their newest tank. I was given the Avatar Mesh Tank Nano for the purpose of review.
There are some great tanks on the market at the moment and designs of tanks have stayed pretty much the same for a while now. It is however the coil that is where the battle is in my eyes. Companies creating a stock coil that not only delivers great flavour but a coil that is going to give the consumer longevity as well. Not only will I be looking at the build quality of the tank but more importantly how the coil performs with the tank. Please read on and I will go through my thoughts on the device.

Taking a look at the tank
The resin 810 cobra style drip sits well into a metal socket. The metal top cap has a resin covering. When taken off the cap reveals a couple of wide holes for filling the tank, the top cap twists off on some smooth threads.
At the base of the tank there is two good sized airflow holes which are adjustable, they spin all the way round as they have stoppers as you can see in the images below.
In the top two images below you can see the two sides to the top cap. Bottom left you can the top of the tank and two large juice fill holes. Bottom right you can see the base of the tank with the name of the tank, serial number and a gold plated adjustable 510 pin. I would advise that this tank is not used on a mechanical MOD.
In the images below you can see a close up of the mesh coil and the packed cotton.
Thoughts and Conclusions
To start with I have to say that the build quality of this tank is fantastic, all the threads are clear and smooth. I like how the drip tip sits in a metal socket. The resin finish is also stunning.
I have found that I needed to work the coil in a little to get its full potential. The flavour is great from the start, but like a good wine, it gets better with age. There is also great vapour production from this tank and with the large airflow you can fog out a room in no time at all.
Not necessarily a negative but I feel that I should point it out, it it is a little noisy when in use. A bit like hearing wind through a narrow channel.
I have had no problem with the life of the coils, getting a good couple of weeks out of them.
All in all a well built, great performing tank and for me certainly has its place along side some of the leading best selling mesh coil tanks on the market.
- Great build quality
- As the coil ages the flavour gets better
- Great vapour production
- Coils last well
I don’t have any, maybe the noise but with it performing so well it is something I quickly forget.
