JAC Vapour is a UK company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. They launched in 2010 and then in 2011 JAC’s launched the V3i battery and cartomiser, the very first bottom coil cartomiser on the UK market.
I was contacting by JAC Vapour recently and asked to do a review of a new range that has come out. I’ve done a few reviews for JAC Vapour you can check them out by clicking the links below. I was sent for the purpose of review Bryn’s – Desserts which is what I have for you today.
- Original JAC Vapour Juice review
- S22 Tank by JAC Vapour
- Series-B DNA 75W MOD by JAC Vapour
- Bryn’s Special Sauce
- Bryn’s Special Sauce – part 2
- Bryn’s Special Sauce – part 3
These are a shortfill range and so I have added nicotine shots. Nicotine can sometimes change the flavour of a juice or make the juice react differently, so for me to test properly I think it is important to have it as it would be vaped by a customer. Please read on and let’s take a look and see what I think of these juices.
The review I will be conducting will be a scent test from the open bottle of juice and then a flavour test on the devices listed below.
With no further a do, I’ll get on with the review.
- Vaporesso Tarot 200W @ 70watts, Geekvape Tsunami 24 with Dual Clapton 0.8ohm coils, wicked with Kendo Cotton
- Vaptio Solo II @ 50watts with 0.25ohm coil
- Sigelei/KAOS Spectrum 220W @ 40watts, Aspire Cleito with 0.4ohm coil
Scent: strawberry jam.
Flavour: wow, wow, wow! The jam in this is just amazing, it hits all those required notes superbly. When I first got this bottle I immediately (and incorrectly) thought that it was going to be a jam sponge pudding. How wrong I was, though I got the amazing jam I was wondering why I wasn’t getting sponge? Because there isn’t any in it! Once I realised I started to notice what was actually there, the jam is with a soft creamy rice pudding type flavour. It is subtle but certainly there.
On the inhale I get this delightful rich strawberry jam straight away. The jam continues into the exhale the beautiful strawberry hitting my taste buds. It is joined by a soft and smooth creaminess, but there is a little more to it that suggests to me that it is something like a rice pudding. Is it an ADV? Certainly is for me.
VP Review Rating: 10/10
Scent: spices and a hint of custard.
Flavour: I really like the flavours presented in this juice, a lovely soft creamy custard and then a selection of spices. I can’t pin point them all but there is a cinnamon and something that is slightly peppery. But and there is a but, the inhale can be quite harsh which does go down as I vape more. I think for those who enjoy a cinnamon vape are really going to enjoy this one.
On the inhale I get a swirl of spices coming in on a hint of creaminess, it finishes with a hit to the throat. On to the exhale and the spices come on further tantalising my taste buds and there is this underlying rich creamy custard.
I do think that it is an excellent flavour, it drops points because it isn’t too smooth to vape which for me is a shame.
VP Review Rating: 6/10
Scent: sponge and sweet notes.
Flavour: very frickin’ clever! I take my hat off to you JAC Vapour. This tastes absolutely spot on. I did think at first that maybe the cake came across overdone. But no, carrot cake is a very rich and bold flavour and this juice delivers just that.
On the inhale I get the rich dark cake with notes of the soaked dried fruit and a hint of spice. On to the exhale and all this just pushes through more and joining it a slight sweet (sour) cream that sits at the top of the palate. Lovely ADV for me.
VP Review Rating: 9/10
So to my conclusion, I find that JAC Vapour with Bryn’s Desserts have brought out some very clever mixed juices, really impressed. They all deliver a full-bodied flavour and produce some excellent vapour. I would like the Spiced Custard to be smoother but it doesn’t stop me vaping it. If you like your dessert vapes then these are definitely worth a try.
The samples I received came in tall dripper bottles with twist tops. The labeling is in keeping with the rest of the Bryn’s Special Sauce range all in bright colours which make them stand out. They have a great website which is clear and easy to navigate.

VP Review Rating explained, when scoring a juice I’m looking at the quality of the juice, how close I feel the flavour is to what it says it is and how I find it stands alongside other flavours of the same type on the market:
11/10 = Awesome Stuff
8/10 – 10/10 = Differing levels of excellence
5/10 – 7/10 = Differing levels of Goodness
0/10 – 4/10 = I have issues with it
I try to write my review to be compliant with the TPD/TRPR regulations that came into force on the 20/05/17. If you would like any further details on the regulations, please click here.
